Please jhow do you find where to change? the file name to m4r.I use window 7 too and I couldn’t change the file name cos it is only showing the artist name and songe tittle.
Try recutting/rendering the mp3 and doing the process over again. if that doesnt work, try making it so that the .m4r file/m4a/and mp3 never had any sort of characters in it besides numbers and letters. also, im going? to assume you obviously had either “sync all ringtones” or had the ringtone selected to be synced.Grab A Copy Click here
Go to the bottom left and click on the start menu, then type “folder options” into? the search, and then click on folder options. then click “view” inside the window that pops up, and scroll down and uncheck the box that says “hide extensions for known file types”
I finally have your answer: You would just need to select the iPhone ringtone maker option as the target format. If you dont see it as an option in the target format drop down list when you? check the Convert to Audio File check box then you will need to use the Add more audio formats option in the drop down list. If you still cant find it after doing that, then you will need to get the latest version of Replay Converter.
BTW There was an old way to do this,(encoding the mp3? on itunes into an aac, then change file extension, then play it) but the new iTunes (9.2.1.5) wont allow it now. You need to use a 3rd party sound editor so you create a new fresh .mp3 and then play it on iTunes and encode it as AAC, rename etc.
